IQboard education pilot project, at Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in Timisoara

Qualteh starts IQboard Education pilot project at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEAA) in Timisoara, implementing the digital signage software module of the solution on existing Samsung professional TVs in the lobby of the faculty building.

IQboard was first dedicated to the manufacturing industry and developed as a complex digital signage solution with real-time data collecting, processing and displaying features. After adding manufacturing companies as Continental, Villeroy&Boch, Autoliv, Johnson Controls, TMD Friction, Hammerer Aluminium Industries (HAI) or Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze to the implementations portfolio, approaching organizations in other industries (education, healthcare, retail) was a natural step forward.

“Now that we have done the difficult part, why not offer it to organizations in other industries, too, industries that only need the displaying features of a digital signage solution, but benefiting also from a very intuitive interface and multiple possibilities of screen splitting?”, says Moise Jurca, Chief Executive Officer of Qualteh, the IQboard software developer.

Information being what the educational experience is all about, digital signage breaks through the clutter, catches the easily distracted eyes of students and accesses virtually any data source to deliver relevant information: from new classes and schedules or lunch menus to leisure times or extracurricular activities.

”This pilot implementation is a small-scale experiment that will help FEAA learn how a large-scale IQboard Education project might work in practice and the benefits that it can bring, thanks to students’ interest for technology and broadcast of information using IT”, says Mr. Jurca.
